Christine Maslin-Cole, Ph.D. received her Doctorate degree from Indiana University. In addition, she completed specialized training in child and adolescent clinical psychology at the University of Denver and in marriage and family therapy at Colorado State University. She has 15 years of experience working clinically with children, adolescents, families and adults. She is a former faculty member of Colorado State University where she served in teaching, research and educational outreach positions. She has authored or co-authored numerous research articles and invited book chapters in the areas of developmental and clinical psychology.
Prior to joining Stress Management Family Counseling Center, Dr. Maslin-Cole was the Director of Behavioral Health Services at United Medical Center in Cheyenne and the Coordinator of the Adolescent Residential Treatment Center at PVH Mountain Crest, where she co-developed and directed an effective treatment program for teens with serious psychological and behavior problems.
Dr. Maslin-Cole’s areas of expertise include child and adolescent learning disorders and behavior problems, parent-child relationship problems, parenting support, family therapy, adult and child life transitions, depression, anxiety, support for couples struggling with infertility and grief/loss support.
Dr. Maslin-Cole is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
