Debra F. Bjork, Ph.D.

Debra F. Bjork, Ph.D. received her doctorate from the University of South Dakota and interned at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She has completed research in the areas of male/female attitudes about mental health, long-term effects of childhood sexual abuse, and depression.

 

Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety disorders, stress disorders related to medical problems, work and relationships, trauma recovery, eating disorders, couples therapy, and women’s issues. Dr. Bjork has presented workshops and training in eating disorders, stress management, treatment of depression and suicidality, self-esteem, mental health, and the effects of and treatment for childhood sexual abuse. She also consults with organizations and corporations on workplace issues such as conflict resolution and stress management.

 

Dr. Bjork is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Colorado Psychological Association.
